As we expand our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Continuous Improvement Intern to join our North American Supply Chain Team.
Position Overview:
As a Sourcing Data Analytics Intern you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence within our North American supply chain. Utilizing lean methodologies, you will identify opportunities for improvement, analyze data, and implement positive changes to enhance overall efficiency. This internship offers a hands-on experience in project management, data analysis, and process optimization within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in updating and maintaining Item Masterdata, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Communicate project status, updates and issues to stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports and meeting minutes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights.
- Manage improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Generate progress reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university program
- Supply Chain or Operations Management, Data Science, Business Administration, or Engineering majors preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Preferred: Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
