Job Description:
Principal Accountabilities
Coordinate the deployment of all category strategies in accordance with the approved plan in conjunction with the Strategic Sourcing Category Lead and internal stakeholders.• Communicate both verbally and in writing with vendors, internal stakeholders and business leaders.• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers to meet company sourcing strategies/needs (category, program, volume, and timing), in line with Arrow's strategy, by performing initial Vendor assessments (risk, maturity, capability and capacity).• Obtain information from suppliers concerning product and/or service specifications, price, delivery dates, etc.• Drive vendor onboarding activities including training and assistance in the utilization/management of the source-to-pay (S2P) platform.• Track and manage vendor compliance with policies and contractual requirements.
Job Complexity• Has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience• Entry level often for those with work experience in the skill area• Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision• Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions
Experience / Education
Typically requires a 2 year degree and 2-4 years of experience or High school graduate with equivalent related experience. May require specific certifications.
