The Sourcing  Coordinator is responsible for executing simple to complex sourcing projects, from start to finish, including but not limited to – validating sourcing requests per guidelines, analyzing requirements, communicating with requester’s to close any data gaps, preparing and publishing the RFx/e-auction to the identified suppliers for bidding, following up with suppliers to ensure adequate participation, analyzing and summarizing proposals, coordinating evaluation of suppliers and facilitating decision makings. 

The position requires strong business, financial, technology, and customer service capabilities in order to facilitate and structure deals that meet the needs of internal customers while protecting Caesars Entertainment’s best interests. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, be highly organized, self-motivated, good listener, and solution-oriented problem-solver with the ability to handle a variety of tasks independently and efficiently. Additionally, this individual must be energetic, ethical, and desire a challenging work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Follow processes and procedures to facilitate meeting needs of global corporations by analyzing business requirements, while addressing multiple regulatory and diversity requirements in varying jurisdictions.
  • Work with Caesars stakeholders to clearly document business requirements for in-scope products and services.
  • Subject matter understanding in strategic sourcing methodologies and working knowledge of the procurement function.
  • Leverage eSourcing tools to execute go-to-market strategies, including but not limited to, RFx & e-Auctions.
  • Assist in managing the contracting process, including but not limited to, contract drafting, redlining, approvals, and execution.
  • Coordinate program implementation, including the setup of contract compliance tools.
  • Manage vendor setup including COI verification, vendor profile completeness and e-Enablement.
  • Issue identification and resolution.
  • Ability to provide creative cost-efficient solutions to meet company needs without compromising quality, customer service and delivery requirements.
  • Strong work ethics and reputation for high ethical standards.
  • Proven ability in communicating and interfacing with Executive teams, internal customer business units, and vendors; strengthen relationships by forming cohesive teams and partnerships to achieve common goals.
  • High energy, detail-oriented self-starter with multi-tasking abilities. Driven by challenges to provide innovative solutions; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in Business or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 (3) years’ experience in Procurement/Sourcing/Supply Chain/Legal
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and other colleagues and demonstrate initiative, mature judgment, great customer service orientation, and the ability to anticipate the needs of the organization.
  • Basic to intermediate negotiation skills. Experience in drafting and negotiating contract terms for local and national agreements a plus.
  • Detailed understanding of standard legal provisions, pricing strategies, minimum order requirements and service level agreements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs.  Oracle experience a plus.
  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and perform detailed work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; handle multiple projects simultaneously; and ensure tasks are completed and deadlines are met as required.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results oriented and data-driven approach.
