The role:
The Sourcing and Procurement Specialist is integral to executing procurement processes that align with business objectives and adhere to industry best practices while ensuring compliance with procurement policies. This role involves managing supplier activities and maintaining excellence in day-to-day supplier performance. The specialist oversees inventory levels, implementing strategic purchasing to optimize inventory turnover and minimize stockouts. They proactively address supply-related issues, swiftly resolving any disruptions in the supply chain. Additionally, the specialist coordinates product updates to ensure a seamless implementation process and identifies areas for improvement, applying best practices to enhance overall supply chain efficiency. Participation in supply chain process improvement initiatives is key to driving cost savings and operational excellence. Collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams to ensure that supply plans are effectively aligned with broader business goals.

This role plays an essential part in executing supplier activities, implementing continuous improvement projects, and driving day-to-day supplier excellence.
What you’ll do:
Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee inventory levels and implement purchasing strategies to optimize inventory turns and reduce stockouts.

Address supply-related issues promptly and proactively work to resolve any disruptions in the supply chain.

Coordinate the implementation of changes to existing products, ensuring a seamless update process.

Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

Participate in supply chain process improvement initiatives to drive cost savings and operational excellence.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, regions, and production, to align supply plans with business objectives.

Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to know:
Experience/Skills/Education:
Required:
-
Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistics , Business, data science, or related field. Master degree is a plus.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain management, inventory management, or supplier management.

Proficiency in supply chain planning tools and systems, including ERP system, MRP system, and Microsoft Suites.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, and self-motivated.

Experience of working under international environment.
Desired:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, ERP, NetSuite

Experience in the Skincare/Beauty industry

(Base Salary Pay Range: $74,000 - $80,200)
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of BeautyHealth’s total rewards package for our employees.
