Position Overview:
- The Sourcing & Insurance Assistant is responsible for supporting the Corporate Insurance Manager and the Sourcing Team. Please note, this position is not involved with any employee benefits at all. This insurance position is for the casualty insurance program with primary focus on the casualty insurance program representing the HomeServe company.
Responsibilities:
- Be an additional internal and external point of contact for all corporate casualty insurance inquiries including but not limited to automobile, property damage and workers compensation claim reporting.
- Gather internal documentation for our claim administrator adjusters as they become assigned.
- Work within the 3rd party claim database (Luminos) pulling reports or other required assignments given by Corporate Insurance Manager.
- Process all Certificates of Insurance requests to internal departments as requested.
- Handle retired fleet vehicle reporting to insurance broker.
- Be the primary point of contact for the electronic document filing system and claims updating procedures used by HomeServe.
- Assist in insurance-related audits, as needed.
- Assist with various parts of the annual insurance renewal.
- Assist with contract renewals and contract notifications tied to the Sourcing Team.
- Support Sourcing Team on projects as they arise throughout the year.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of associates degree in a related field or relevant experience is required
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience is required
- Experience with Captive insurance products and claims a plus
- Strong proficiency with MS office products specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Adobe Pro a plus
- Highly organized with ability to multitask and manage responsibilities timely
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
- Ability to work collaboratively at all levels of the organization and to provide first-rate customer service
- Ability to be trusted with confidential company and employee information
- Aptitude and motivation to learn new skills and build professional capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced organization to meet deadlines
- Skilled in handling multiple assignments and working independently as needed
- Strong attention to detail and producing quality products/services
Salary Range (Norwalk, CT): $44,598.26 $59,464.34
Annual Bonus Potential: 5%
