Job Description
This role is responsible for leading Sourcing Analytics initiatives with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making, analytics frameworks, and process optimization within the Strategic Sourcing Organization (SSO). The Project Manager (PM) partners closely with the Sourcing Analytics and Analyst teams to ensure delivery of project milestones, leveraging data insights to monitor progress, measure impact, and improve sourcing performance.
The PM plays a key role in building and standardizing analytical tools, reporting structures, and data governance practices that enable effective tracking of project outcomes. This includes defining KPIs, ensuring data accuracy, and translating complex datasets into actionable business recommendations.
Working cross-functionally, the PM collaborates with stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business priorities. The role also supports the implementation of new tools and processes, driving adoption through structured change management.
You will report to the Applied Technology and Analytics Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:- Manage Sourcing Analytics projects
- Manage the overall project planning, schedules, status, and delivery of all Sourcing Analytics projects as a part of the Sourcing Analytics team. Most of the development and project output will depend on the Sourcing Analyst(s) assigned to the projects. The PM will be responsible for coordinating with the Analyst(s) to both enable and ensure continuous improvement and the completion of project milestones while identifying and mitigating project risks.
- Sourcing Analytics Project Management Office (PMO)
- In collaboration with the Analytics Manager, the PM will be responsible for establishing and enforcing project management standards across the team. This will include defining and maintaining standards for project documentation, process, and metrics.
- Assist in project prioritization and ROI
- Collaborate with the Analytics Manager, project stakeholders, and Sourcing Leadership to prioritize projects. In coordination with these partners, develop a standard method to analyze project value/savings and present this value to leadership.
- Sourcing Project Lead
- Lead project teams in support of complex, and often critical, cross functional sourcing and supply chain strategies and related business initiatives. Utilize continuous improvement methods to drive efficiency and value for the supply chain organization.
- Develop an expertise in the strategic sourcing process
- Teams with multiple Supply Chain teams and other subject matter experts to learn and create commodity / services sourcing strategies. Through the management of the analyst team projects, the PM will develop a strong knowledge of Sourcing processes and applications.
- Advanced project management capabilities with a strong emphasis on delivering measurable outcomes through data-driven insights, KPIs, and performance tracking
- Strong proficiency in analyzing, structuring, and interpreting complex datasets to generate actionable insights supporting strategic decision-making
- Proven experience in designing, documenting, and implementing scalable, data-centric processes, frameworks, and reporting standards
- Change management initiatives grounded in data, metrics, and adoption tracking to ensure measurable business impact
- Leveraging quantitative analysis, root cause identification, and continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and value creation
- Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple data-driven initiatives with high accuracy, and focus on data integrity
- Communication skills with a strong focus on data storytelling, translating analytical findings into clear business recommendations
- High level of ownership and proactiveness in leveraging data, analytics, and insights to optimize sourcing strategies and influence business outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Experience in building and deploying analytical tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
- Knowledge of sourcing and supply chain processes with a data-driven approach
- Certifications such as CPIM, CPSM, PMP, or Data/Analytics-related certifications
- Lean / Six Sigma certification with focus on data-driven process improvement
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and data extraction/reporting
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, analytics, project management, or operations
- Manage cross-functional projects using data to define objectives, track performance, and optimize outcomes
