Job Summary:
Provides operational and functional support to the strategic sourcing team including data gathering and analysis, benchmarking and research, and contract modification. Utilizes and maintains the Pinnacle sourcing system. Generates reports, performing spend analyses and providing data summaries for sourcing team and management.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provides operational support to the sourcing team in the areas of business partner sourcing and management, RFI and RFP development, contract administration, spend analysis, and reporting.
  • Interprets spend data including monthly, quarterly, and annual purchasing activity and expense statements. Assists in the preparation of reports and presentations to management summarizing the organization's purchasing data.
  • Develops and delivers required reporting such as schedule of expired contracts. Delivers required reporting to the line of business partners and the sourcing team.
  • Facilitates the review and approval of contracts, RFIs and RFPs by legal and the line of business. Assists the sourcing team with specific types of contracts.
  • Builds and leverages internal relationships with line of business partners, providing support and guidance through the sourcing process.
  • Assists in the development and installation of systems, controls and procedures for sourcing, spend analysis, and business partner/contract management.
  • Performs detailed financial analyses of key performance areas such as category spend, compliance and supports the development of sourcing strategies.
  • Assists in the preparation of special studies, reports, analyses and recommendations in areas such as financial planning and forecasting as well as statistical reporting for the sourcing team and management.
  • Participates in meetings with other organizations, within or outside the firm, to resolve issues, implement new methods, procedures or controls.
  • Assists with the development of sourcing processes, tools and templates. Recommends systems and processes improvements to increase contract effectiveness. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Firm authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline OR an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Minimum Experience: Two years of experience in procurement, sourcing and/or business partner contract mangement. 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Stand or Walk Regularly

  • Climb, Bend, Kneel, Crouch, or Crawl Regularly
  • Ability to see objects up close or at a distance, use peripheral vision, identify basic colors

  • Weight/Force exertion required less than 25%
  • Travel required less than 10%.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
