The Senior Account Executive is responsible for account management and product delivery for digital, offset commercial printing, POSM, premiums and displays production. This role will involve delivering exceptional service management, ongoing cost savings and added value for the client. In addition, this role will manage progression of the jobs with suppliers through the various stages in the production lifecycle and will ensure that clients are updated regularly on the progress of their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement and project management of all printing requirements – digital, offset commercial printing, POSM, premiums & display materials
- Technical Support: Provide first level support in resolving technical problems which will require knowledge of Premium types, methodologies, thorough understanding of MIS and familiarity with print technologies
- Assume full responsibility for processing and production of all requests from receipt of brief through to final delivery and invoice preparation to ensure deadlines and quality expectations are met
- Regular liaison with clients and suppliers regarding production schedules;
- Attends supplier meetings and manages the relationship; resolve complex supplier issues, and escalates to Account Director when needed
- Implements Best Practice in conjunction with wider WLT operations and ensure all client Service Levels (SLAs) are met
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in procuring digital, offset commercial printing, visual merchandising, premiums and point of sales material.
- Strong understanding of all print production processes providing technical input as required
- Have excellent knowledge of 2D and 3D technologies with sound knowledge of general print, packaging and POS products
- Must be flexible in order to succeed in a dynamic working environment with very strong communication, inter-personal and customer facing skills and fluent in both written and spoken English
- Strong experience and understanding of all prepress and commercial printing processes
- Credible at all levels within client, partner and agency organisations
- Dynamic, yet detail-orientated outlook
- Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and possess ‘can-do’ attitude
- Capable of developing and implementing plans and strategy
