ABOUT THE POSITION 

 

The SOREL North American eCommerce team defines, develops, and delivers a best-in-class consumer experiences for SOREL.com and SORELFOOTWEAR.ca consumers to increase consumer affinity, drive engagement, and ultimately drive sales. Through merchandising, marketing, site operations, technology, and analytics, we collaborate to exceed consumer expectations at every consumer journey touchpoint within the eCommerce channel. 

 

The SOREL DTC Marketing Specialist is a key member of the SOREL Global Marketing and North America Ecommerce team, responsible for supporting the DTC marketing strategy across all marketing channels with a focus on driving gross sale, measurement, and balancing full funnel marketing 

 

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Support in the development and execution of the DTC marketing strategy/tactics across all marketing channels. 

  • Work with DTC team to support merchandising and sales strategies to drive marketing efforts to reach or beat business KPIs.

  • Partner and work cross functionally with brand marketing, creative, and other SOREL functional groups to drive connectivity between DTC marketing and the rest of the organization. 

  • Partner closely with vendors to ensure all areas are being supported and current with best practices across the marketing stack. 

  • Own the vendor relationships for payments, points of contact, and meeting/communication cadences.

  • Be the point of contact for the media agency to help facilitate the day-to-day operation and support of the DTC channel. This includes working directly with the agency team, providing SOREL business insights on a daily, weekly, monthly basis to the team, and helping steer the decision-making.

  • Review analytics from all sources on a regular basis to provide reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly basis through regular communication channels as well as dashboards.

  • Work to identify areas of opportunity to accelerate paid media performance, product level sell through, and test new approaches to expand the marketing approach.

  • Stay on top of influencer trends and content types to better inform the SOREL content strategy that populates campaigns. 

 

 YOU ARE 

  • Passionate about brand building and Ecommerce.  

  • Driven to solve problems and operate with agency to self-start.

  • Curious about data and motivated to dig into analytics for answers.

  • Comfortable taking action, advocating for their ideas, and are ready to bring their POV to a dynamic team environment. 

 

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Finance required.

  • 1 - 2 years supporting online marketing programs via Affiliate Marketing and/o paid media channels.  

  • Experience with Commission Junction or similar networks.

  • Experience with DSP and top-tier ad networks a plus.

  • This role is responsible to overarching e-commerce sales goals. Requires a strong attention to detail and proficiency with technical tools and systems. 

  • Experience with web analytical tools such as Omniture and Google Analytics a plus.

  • Experience collaborating with outside agency resources.

  • A knowledge & passion for commerce/shopping trends and delivering a best-in-class user experience to our consumers.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively integrate with key stakeholders across the company and various business units.

  • Experience in a B2C, multi-channel retail environment, apparel a plus. Agency experience with any of the above is also valuable.
