Under direct supervision, responsible for processing orders, data entry, customer quotes, for materials or merchandise from direct customer contact supporting the Western Region Sales team
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for processing orders for materials or merchandise from direct customer contact.
- Create and monitor work orders to meet production and customer requirements.
- Create sales order’s ensuring proper documentation and approvals are obtained prior to order booking.
- Maintains customer files with sales purchase orders, sales orders and other information.
- Tracks sales shipment, delivery, and backlog activities, providing internal sales reports when needed.
- Provides technical assistance to customers and sales personnel via telephone.
- Act as a Liaison between customers and manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, sales, field service and accounting to resolve status, production, delivery and billing inquiries.
- Provide status and data for weekly customer reporting.
Education
- High School diploma, Associates or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Four (4) to Six (6) years administrative experience, preferably in a professional office setting.
- Working knowledge of general policies and procedures.
- Strong Customer Relations skills.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Sufficient PC skills to manage information and good ten key data entry skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer.
- Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented.
