Department Overview
Avigilon Alta Video is Motorola Solutions' cloud-native video security platform (formerly Ava Security). It includes Alta Aware (cloud VMS), Avigilon Ava cameras with on-board analytics, and Alta Cloud Connectors to bridge existing cameras to the cloud. The platform provides full AI video analytics and operational insights, offering a scalable and secure cloud solution.
Job Description

The Alta Solutions Sales Executive is responsible for supporting the Motorola Solutions Enterprise Brazil field sales teams to close Avigilon Alta Video sales across channel partners and end-user customers. This role focuses on achieving sales, profitability, and customer recruitment objectives within the region. We are seeking an independent, self-managing territory leader who can act as an entrepreneurial "hunter".
 

Responsibilities

  • Support local sales representatives with all Alta Video opportunities.

  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new relationships within partner and end-user communities.

  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in the assigned region.

  • Coordinate company personnel, including pre-sales, tech support, and training, to meet customer expectations.

  • Drive adoption of company programs and execute go-to-market strategies for specific vertical markets.

  • Participate in industry tradeshows.


Basic Requirements

Location & Experience

  • Location: Must be based in São Paulo (SP) or Rio de Janeiro (RJ).

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of channel sales experience in a B2B technology or physical security environment with a proven track record.

  • Education: University degree required.

  • Language: Fluent English is mandatory.
     

Cloud Ecosystem Expertise (New Requirements)

  • Cloud Ecosystem Mastery: Solid knowledge of major market clouds (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud). Must understand the functional differences between instances, storage, and scalability.

  • Service Models: Deep understanding of the applications of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, as well as hybrid and multicloud environments.

  • Cloud Finance: Ability to calculate and explain TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI for cloud migration versus maintaining on-premises infrastructure.

  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient knowledge of cloud-based video security, VMS, and enterprise solution selling.
     

Additional Skills

  • Experience in Proven track record in territory management, prospecting, and negotiation.

  • Effective understanding of "Overlay" sales culture and environments.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

  • This position requires frequent travel.
