The WaveMark Solutions Marketing Manager supports efforts to drive greater awareness, develop the market, and support pipeline growth through best demonstrated practices for live events and sales enablement. The individual in this role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of events strategy, including pre-show activation and team readiness, and monitoring progress to goals and business objectives. The individual will own sales enablement strategy and adoption of key tools that support customer and prospect outreach, including development and maintenance of selling collateral (RFP process, pitches, content, etc.).
Success in this role requires (a) strong marketing competencies to support pull through of WaveMark value prop to event and sales enablement strategy, (b) strong attention to detail to technical solution components; (c) project management skills to execute on projects while managing budget implications; (d) comfort leading cross-functional projects between sales, marketing and customer success teams inside a matrixed and geographically dispersed (mostly virtual) organization.
Responsibilities
- Owns development and execution of WaveMark Tradeshow and Association strategy.
- Drives best in class game plays to ensure success at live events and industry conferences promote WaveMark’s technology and services, tracking and reporting on results and ROI.
- Uses tradeshows and associations to stay abreast of market developments for industry and key competitors.
- Ensures compliance to Cardinal Health compliance policies by partnering with the corporate compliance team.
- Owns WaveMark solution demo strategy, including planning and execution of onsite customer demos and creation of virtual demo tools
- Manages relationships with strategic vendors that provide market research, industry insight, and WaveMark Prospect/Customer organizational insights.
- Analyzes market research, trends, projections and innovations to support ideation for new marketing campaigns. Collaborates with marketing and product management teams to integrate commercial, customer, and technical perspectives.
- Manages Sales enablement tools to ensure that teams have all necessary information to efficient commercialization of the product, in coordination with upstream Product Management and commercial launch teams. This includes ownership of key brand assets such as master pitch deck, brochures, and videos.
- Owns WaveMark RFP process and tools in collaboration with sales reps and med RFP team.
- Owns strategy to manage and optimize usage of sales enablement technology tools for WaveMark and leads sales team training to drive accountability for adoption.
- Maintains budget tracking for Project Management & Marketing team, including SOWs, MSAs, and procurement processes. Partners with finance team to ensure accurate accruals for month end close.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- 3+ years experience in marketing, preferred.
- Prior experience with event strategy and execution preferred.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in owning and driving adoption of sales enablement tools like Highspot, Bynder, demo tools, etc.
- Experience working and collaborating with a sales team to identify and prioritize sales enablement tool needs, objectives and goals.
- Accountable for gaining and driving cross functional support from all stakeholders.
- Experience working independently, using good judgment and leadership abilities to manage short and long-term priorities and projects.
- Excellent project management skills and demonstration of managing timelines.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
