Solutions Manager
The Solutions Manager is responsible for leading a team with the goal of developing implementable and profitable warehouse solutions that address the customer’s supply chain challenges, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing.

Your role on the team:
- Manages a client solution through scope discovery, gathering data, modeling, internal review, and client approval
- Provides direction and leadership to the team during solution and design phase when functioning as the core team lead; collaborates with Business Development and Implementation Director on progress and requirements to win and successfully implement deals
- Identifies and defines the solution strategy based on customer’s key pain points and supply chain challenges
- Provides leadership to complete the data analysis phase, working with all work streams to get a deep understanding of client’s business
- Working with design engineering and other work streams, drives the creation of the design concept that addresses the client’s supply chain challenges, business needs and requirements; provides appropriate feedback and “out of the box” thinking
- Reviews the productivity standards developed by the solutions engineer and LMS SME for all labor functions involved in the deal, identifying opportunities to improve, and providing guidance and expertise
- Reviews and approves the solutions model, ensuring all elements of the cost structure accurately represent the design and processes proposed, and that the operating parameters that drive the scope of the solution are correct.

What you need: (requirements)
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or Logistics from a 4 year college or university
- Minimum 4 years’ related experience and/or training in a distribution environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of mid-level warehousing design
- Experience in a 3PL environment preferred
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology, as well as warehouse operational processes
- Experience with drafting software (ex. AutoCad)
- Knowledge of processes as it relates to management systems
- Knowledge of critical process as it relates to supply chain operations and labor standards
- Knowledge of P&L statements and basic finance / accounting.
