Your Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking a HRIS Analyst for our Workday team within HR Systems and Solutions in Plantation, FL.
In this role, you will serve as a key contributor to the configuration, optimization, and maintenance of our Workday HRIS platform focusing on core HCM and foundational data, ensuring seamless HR operations through effective system management, data analysis, and reporting support.
What You'll Do:
Provide consultation and collaboration to cross-functional teams both inside and outside of HR, acting as the Business Analyst and configuration subject matter expert for Workday
Support timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
Perform cyclical system processes with HR and cross-functional partners
Conduct high level needs analysis and recommend service improvements to increase the efficiency of the Workday system
Support business process improvement initiatives
Facilitate the development, operation and maintenance of Workday HCM and other modules when necessary
Use Workday EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builder) to support data uploads, mass updates, and data corrections while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with system standards
Troubleshoot system issues and manage resolutions or escalations
Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide key support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Perform impact analysis due to change requests or Workday upgrades
Ensure all processes are followed as documented in Sarbanes-Oxley process narratives, process flows, and control matrices
Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy and compliance
Participate in data and structural reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards
Develop communication and training materials on system navigation and changes
Deliver training programs for HR and general employee/manager population on system utilization
Cross-Train in 2-3 functional areas of Workday to provide supplemental HRIS support
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
1-2 years of Workday experience or training preferred. Must have experience with one or more Workday modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Security and Reporting
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required
HR functional experience preferred
Knowledge of current approaches to using HR technology to solve business problems and craft creative solutions.
Strong statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and IT clients
Ability to accurately collect information to understand and assess the clients' needs and situation
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle daily planned and unplanned operational activities
Demonstrated skill in attention to detail and accuracy with data
In-depth system knowledge and demonstrated experience with process flow and configuration design, experience implementing complex HR systems such as Workday
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects efficiently and effectively
Position may require travel
Bonus (if applicable):
Experience with advanced Workday reporting tools (e.g., Advanced and Matrix reports, Calculated Fields, dashboards, etc.)
