JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title:Solutions Lead, DevelopmentExemptPOSITION SUMMARY The Solutions Lead, Development is responsible for providing technical leadership across complex MES/MOM and digital manufacturing implementations. This role leads development strategy, ensures code quality, mentors development resources, and partners cross-functionally to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions for clients.
The Solutions Lead serves as both a hands-on senior developer and a technical authority, guiding architecture decisions, enforcing standards, and supporting enterprise-level deployments across manufacturing environments.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITYRole duties include:
Technical Leadership & Oversight
- Lead software development efforts across MES/MOM implementations
- Provide technical guidance, architecture oversight, and development standards enforcement
- Ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code delivery
- Conduct code reviews and validate adherence to SDLC best practices
- Extend object and logic models based on detailed technical designs
- Provide senior-level development for complex implementations
- Develop and customize MES solutions (Opcenter/Camstar)
- UI design and development (Web Application and/or Portal Studio)
- Interface development (CIO / Camstar Interoperability / integration services)
- Custom programming (C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, Web Services)
- Assist in preparation and execution of system integration and acceptance testing
- Deliver upgrades and enhancements to existing client environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced customer issues
- Reproduce issues in-house when necessary for testing and validation
- Provide guidance on factory modeling best practices (hierarchies, CVEs, object modeling)
- Extend and maintain factory models using Designer tools
- Implement and maintain integrations using CIO and WCF/.NET APIs
- Support Enterprise Platform Administration
- Maintain and grow Opcenter platform expertise across:
- Modeler
- Designer (Professional)
- System Developer
- Integration
- Solution Technical Lead
- Gather and validate detailed development requirements
- Translate business requirements into technical execution
- Provide superior customer support (internal & external)
- Support consulting and training teams during engagements
- Assist with SOW scoping and effort estimation where required
- Influence executive-level stakeholders on technical direction
- Mentor and support developers across the organization
- Provide technical training and onboarding guidance
- Contribute to internal knowledgebase and forums
- Ensure proper documentation of development work
- Maintain and improve SOPs related to development practices

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and professional experience).
- 10–15 years in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) environments
- 7–10 years leading development/customization in MES systems
- 5–7 years on large, complex manufacturing system projects
- 5–7 years in consultative client-facing roles
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, SQL, Web Services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regulated industries (Medical Device, Pharma, etc.)
- Validation & Verification experience
- Exposure to PLM, LIMS, and/or QMS systems

Geographic Location:
Connected Manufacturing is currently seeking to hire the next Solutions Lead, Development in the following geographic region(s):
- Philippines
- Fully Remote Position (Must have a functional home office with high-speed internet).
- Final work location may influence compensation and travel expectations.
The anticipated salary range for this position is:
(Philippines Salary Range: ₱1,000,000 – ₱2,200,000 PHP annually)
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, technical expertise, certifications, and demonstrated leadership and platform experience capability. In addition, it will be aligned with local market data and structured in accordance with regional employment standards.
