Role Description
Generate, identify, and drive pipeline by understanding customer business and technology needs and positioning Cisco solutions and services to deliver measurable outcomes.
Drive Cisco growth by profiling, qualifying, and prospecting into Public Sector whitespace and existing customer expansion opportunities.
Execute against new Cisco logo and expansion KPI’s with strong pipeline inspection and opportunity management discipline.
Serve as a customer-facing subject matter expert on Cisco technologies, architectures, and lifecycle services to help customers select, deploy, adopt, and optimize Cisco solutions.
Strategically partner with sales leadership, account executives, and Cisco field teams to execute territory and account acquisition strategies.
Maintain deep working knowledge of Cisco product roadmaps, licensing models, and architectural use cases across networking, security, collaboration, data center, and cloud.
Present the company’s Cisco value proposition at customer briefings, partner events, and industry forums.
Develop, test, refine, and scale repeatable Cisco-focused sales motions and go-to-market strategies.
Assist in training Public Sector Sales teams on Cisco offerings and solution positioning.

5+ years of experience selling Cisco solutions or working in a Cisco-focused partner environment.
Ability to travel approximately 20%.
Preferred:
Experience with a manufacturer or VAR, and experience in K-12, State & Local Government, or Higher Education strongly preferred; candidates with related experience in a subset of these areas will also be considered.
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $175,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
