Graduate Solutions Engineer, NZ

Note: Partly is headquartered in Austin, TX with offices in London, UK, Christchurch, NZ and Auckland, NZ. Wherever you're based, we'll connect you with your nearest office for onboarding, and fly you to join the full team for our quarterly "Season Openers" (we cover travel and accommodation). If you're relocating to join us, we can also assist with relocation costs. This position is based in our Christchurch office.

In the Solutions Engineer role, you will excel at building strong relationships between our team and our customers, aligning industry needs with customer expectations and technical capabilities. Your experience working with large datasets, ability to quickly understand technical concepts, and passion for the automotive industry will be key to driving momentum across the business.

Reporting to the Dismantler Commerce team, your project scope will be broad and varied, giving you exceptional opportunities to learn and apply your skills to your chosen career path. You will gain hands-on experience and lead research and development into creating the best possible experience for one of our key customer segments.

Be the customer. Become a super-user of Partly’s inventory management system — the Partly PIM — and other apps across the Partly ecosystem. Understand exactly how buyers rely on us to find the right parts for their vehicles.

Scope, develop, and implement user-centric solutions that harness the power of the Partly Platform, delivering outstanding results while maximizing customer success through a smooth onboarding journey.

Build integrations.

Work closely with the Engineering team, providing well-defined requirements and guidelines to develop industry-leading products. Engage with customers through rigorous testing phases to iterate and improve solutions, ensuring they align with established criteria while providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement.

A STEM degree.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively with customers and colleagues.

Proficiency in analyzing data using Python, Pandas, and SQL.

A logical and structured approach to problem-solving; you often spend time outside of university thinking about complex problems and opportunities for innovation.

Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment, staying up to date with industry trends and best practices.
