You’ll join a collaborative, high-performing team of SEs and cross-functional peers who move fast, think strategically, and believe deeply in the value we bring to customers. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and commerce—with the technical chops and executive presence to match.
Interesting problems you’ll get to solve
- Own and lead technical implementation discussions with merchants and partners across web, payment, and commerce technologies
- Become a subject matter expert in payments, BNPL, and Zip’s platform capabilities
- Collaborate with Zip’s Product and Engineering teams to build solutions that scale across multiple verticals and geographies
- Translate business requirements and customer needs into actionable technical solutions
- Deliver product demos and presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Troubleshoot integration issues and work cross-functionally to ensure successful deployments
- Contribute to our public developer portal and documentation to improve integration velocity and customer experience
- Apply AI tools and techniques to streamline implementation processes and improve time-to-value for partners
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients and internal teams leverage Zip’s platform to meet their strategic goals
What you’ll bring to the team
- 5+ years of experience working with or implementing web technologies, especially in e-commerce or payments
- 3+ years in a client-facing role, including experience presenting to technical and executive audiences
- Proven track record of leading technical implementations and solutioning across cross-functional stakeholders
- Familiarity with payment APIs, e-commerce platforms, and developer tooling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify the complex
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical details into business value
- Experience leveraging or implementing AI tools in technical solutioning or process automation
- A high-adaptability mindset with a bias for action, learning, and collaboration
- Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and growth opportunities

The Pay Range for this position: $130,000-140,000 based on the industry benchmark for position, function, level and Zip's compensation strategies. However, actual base salary will depend on varying circumstances and individualized factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
