We are looking for an Forward Deployed Engineer who is excited to transition from pure coding to a more business-oriented and impactful role. This role sits at the intersection of technical expertise and client interaction, helping Gladia win deals and deliver cutting-edge solutions for our customers.
Design, build, and deploy custom integrations and prototypes using Gladia’s AI APIs (speech-to-text, embeddings, diarization...).
Work closely with customers to understand their technical challenges, propose architectures, implement solutions, identifying friction points and suggesting enhancements.
Collaborate with the sales team to join calls with clients, being the technical voice.
Build reference implementations, SDKs, and tooling that make our APIs easier to adopt and scale.
Collaborate with product and engineering to improve developer experience, performance, and new API features.
Support early-stage POCs, benchmarking, and production deployments in close partnership with client engineering teams.
Occasionally contribute to internal demos, hackathons, and documentation.
3–6+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or applied AI
Strong coding skills in Python or Typescript, with experience building and consuming REST APIs
Client-focused mindset: You’re excited to interact with customers and provide solutions to real-world problems.
Strong technical problem-solving skills: Ability to read and debug code to understand client issues and recommend the best integration strategies.
Business acumen: Comfort working in a sales-driven environment and helping close deals by showcasing the technical value of Gladia’s solutions.
Passion for AI: An interest in speech-to-text, audio intelligence, or machine learning is a big plus.
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
The compensation offered is based on seniority and experience, and would typically range from €45K to €70K in base salary + commission + BSPCE (with Strike Price).
