ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a Solutions Engineer at Apex Fintech Solutions, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our technology offerings and the unique needs of our clients. This role requires not only a strong technical acumen but also an ability to understand and analyze financial processes in custody and clearing operations to provide tailored, efficient, and effective solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Design and articulate compelling solutions to our customers using our products and API services offerings.
- Acquire deep expertise in the technology that powers banking, brokerage and advisory.
- Gain experience with leading technologies built by Apex and our partners.
- Engage with recently signed clients in the post-sales process and engage on their implementation efforts
- Ability to understand and put together pre-sales demo working closely with sales and sales engineering team.
- Discuss detailed architecture, design complex solutions, and guide customers to successful infrastructure operations.
- Act as the technical "voice of the customer" within Apex. Ability to work with the broader Apex Engineering, operational and product teams documenting and verbalizing customer requirements.
- Act as the technical "voice of Apex" in the field. Present technical concepts to technical and c-suite audiences.
- Act as conduit to product teams by proposing customer use cases for enhancements/functionality to API suite
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience) required
- 3+ years of prior work experience
- Financial services technology background preferred
Required Skills/Abilities
- Strong background with developing, testing, and maintaining REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of Public cloud infrastructure and Microservices backend.
- Customer centric with strong ability to understand and grasp customer needs and map it our solution offering,
- Proven experience in at least one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, C#, C++, Go, etc.
- Ability to learn languages, tools, frameworks, processes quickly.
- Ability to Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners with strong initiative to drive solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with monitoring/CI-CD/DevOps is a plus.
