The Solutions team is a central pillar of our growth strategy, and we are looking for a Solutions Engineer to help drive our vision.

What to expect: 

  • Prioritize and resolve outstanding technical issues from a defined Account List. 
  • Create innovative Solutions and Architectures to solve complex Customer Business use cases. 
  • Develop a Technical Review cadence with Accounts to roadmap their future plans and nearterm Technical roadblocks. 
  • Establish relationships within Customers independent of Account Executives. 
  • Partner with Technical Marketing to deliver best in class Collateral to share with potential customers and growing existing customers to enable their expansion with Vultr. 
  • Work with Product Management and Engineering to identify, define and triage feature requests. 
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to deliver Voice of Customer to enable continued future customer success.


Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • A collegial and collaborative approach working across Departments and Seniority levels within Vultr’s Customers and Vultr. 
  • Subject Matter Expertise in Cloud IaaS including but not limited to Cloud Compute, Cloud GPU, and Bare Metal Servers. 
  • Demonstrated experience with Compute Orchestration technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform, VMWare, Rancher, etc. 
  • Proficiency with API created and driven Infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code. 
  • Comprehend global internetworking and local networking infrastructure and concepts including OSI Model, Dynamic and Static IP Routing, BGP, VLANs/VXLANs, Peering, Network as a Service Providers. 


Compensation

$110,000 - $115,000 + bonus

This salary can vary based on location, years of experience, background and skill set.
