Job Summary

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer for our Pre-Sales function within our Sales group. Your role would focus on the Pre-Sales process and articulating our wealth management value proposition to prospects and clients. We want individual contributors that are team players and not afraid to express their views in a direct but professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales: support d1g1t’s pre-sales process by providing product demos to prospects and refining the pre-sales product messaging and “storylines”.
• Demo environment: design and refine the demo environment to support product positioning for different target audiences and to showcase newly developed product functionality.
• Requirements gathering: provide input to product management with respect to functionality requests that emerge from prospects through the pre-sales process
• Documentation: contribute to marketing collateral, white papers and user guides on d1g1t methodology and functionality.
• Ad hoc topic development: own the creation and development of presentations to lead conversations on new or complicated topics or functions. Adjust these presentations over time as new output or software is developed to update them with the latest information.
• RFP/RFI: own the organization of contributors and completion of RFP/RFI requests for qualified prospects
• Financial Engineer Liaison: provide the bridge between the Sales group and the Financial Engineering group for knowledge transfer, in-depth prospect queries and management of FE resources needed to support the Sales group

Qualifications

• Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate a value proposition persuasively
• Self-motivated and able to direct own project work with minimal supervision
• Professional demeanor, good time management skills and ability to build rapport with prospects
• Experience in leading teams and managing people – with a strong emphasis on employee engagement, career paths, and reporting.
• 5+ years’ work experience, or demonstrable knowledge in risk, wealth or portfolio management. Specialization or experience in any relevant area such as performance attribution, portfolio optimization, trading, portfolio construction, stress testing, data science, etc.
• Solutions Engineering experience or familiarity with the d1g1t solution or similar wealth technology solutions.
• Programming experience in any language such as: R, Python, Julia, VBA or similar language for data analysis, scripting and prototyping a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, required.  Master’s in a quantitative field and/or professional designation: CFA, CFP, CAIA, FRM or other is an asset.
• Interest in solving complex problems, someone who can move fast, ask great questions, challenge the status quo and become a trusted resource for our prospective clients
