Solutions Engineer, SQS

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to support and drive customer implementations of our Axivion Architecture Verification and Qt Coco tools. This role will serve as the technical bridge between customers, sales teams, and product development, with a focus on automotive software development environments. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working directly at customer sites and possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to implement Axivion Architecture Verification and Qt Coco in their development environments
• Create custom scripts and automation to help customers overcome integration challenges, particularly with AUTOSAR-based development
• Provide technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept implementations during the sales process
• Accompany Account Managers on customer meetings and provide technical expertise during sales presentations
• Conduct regular on-site work at customer locations to ensure successful implementation and adoption
• Develop and conduct technical training for customer engineering teams
• Create tools, scripts, and methodologies to simplify tool adoption and streamline workflows
• Identify and document common customer challenges and work with product teams on improvement opportunities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders at customer organizations
• Stay current with automotive software development standards and methodologies, including ASPICE, ISO 26262, and AUTOSAR

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in automotive software development
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tool integration
• Experience with C/C++ development and understanding of software architecture principles
• Knowledge of static code analysis and/or code coverage tools
• Familiarity with Automotive SPICE processes, particularly software testing and verification
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Proven ability to work effectively in customer environments and adapt to their specific needs
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles, preferably in a consulting or solutions capacity
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed (approximately 40%)
• Comfortable working on-site at customer locations for extended periods when required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AUTOSAR-based development
• Knowledge of ARXML file structure and processing
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like Google Test
• Experience with continuous integration environments
• Understanding of automotive ECU development lifecycle
• Previous solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting experience
• Experience managing customer expectations and navigating challenging technical discussions
• Demonstrated ability to build trust with technical stakeholders
