  • セキュリティもしくはネットワーク分野におけるプリセールスまたは技術コンサルタント経験:5年以上
  • 顧客対応や営業支援の実務経験:5年以上

Role Overview

You will be the technical Solutions Engineer driving presales activities across Cisco's broad product portfolio for commercial customers across Japan. Leveraging your strong technical expertise and presales experience, you will collaborate closely with sales partners, influence their technical decision-makers, and help customers and partners build architectural strategies aligned with business needs to deliver tangible business outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate directly with account executive, product specialist sales and solutions engineers to drive business growth across Cisco's broad portfolio.
  • Identify emerging technology trends and explore innovative ways to build and grow new business opportunities leveraging the Cisco portfolio.
  • Partner and co-pilot with partner Systems Engineers on key engagements to achieve successful customer and business outcomes.
  • Conduct technical validations, Proof of Concept and Proof of Value for critical customer opportunities.
  • Plan and lead technical discussions and architectural workshops with partner companies.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations and internal stakeholders to define and execute short-term and long-term technical campaigns and initiatives.
  • Share field-based technical strategies and operational insights across Japan and the wider APJC region.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of presales or technical consulting experience in the Security or Networking domains.
  • 5+ years of customer-facing and sales support experience.
  • 3+ years of experience working with partner businesses and channels.
  • Deep technical knowledge across Cisco product portfolios and general security/networking technologies.
  • Fundamental knowledge of AI and the ability/mindset to leverage AI tools for daily productivity and work efficiency.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to influence key technical decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, organizations, and regional boundaries.
  • Proactive mindset, high sense of ownership, and enthusiasm for taking on challenges in new technology domains.
  • Collaborative attitude with a commitment to sharing knowledge and elevating overall team and organizational capabilities.
  • Native-level Japanese language proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cisco Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
  • Experience collaborating with global teams and international stakeholders. English communication skills for business interactions.
