Job Description

We’re looking for a Solutions Engineering Manager to lead a team of technical Solutions Engineers who help partners and enterprise customers integrate with our global money movement platform.

You’ll manage a team of direct reports, drive high-quality integrations, and shape the future of a platform built to make cross-border money movement instant, convenient, transparent, and as cheap as possible.

This role is ideal for someone with 6+ years of SE experience along with, 3+ years leading or managing Solutions Engineers or customer-facing technical teams.

Your role in the team:

  • You’ll be responsible for the overall health and productivity of your team. Directly managing, coaching, and developing Solutions Engineers. Defining strong, clear goals that align with Wise Platform’s objectives and supporting the team in achieving them.
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and career development paths. Helping them to make data-driven decisions.
  • You’ll have an overview of the region’s plans, opportunities and challenges, having direct input as a decision maker in collaboration with Delivery and Commercial leads.
  • You’ll support your team in delivering high quality, efficient and scalable solutions to our partners.
  • You’ll get to work closely with Product Engineering teams to influence product development to meet our partner’s needs.
  • Guide customers through technical discovery, solution design, build, test, and launch
  • Ensure integrations fully leverage our global accounts, payouts, FX, and compliance APIs
  • Remove blockers and improve customer onboarding efficiency
  • Bring customer insights into roadmap decisions
  • Advocate for better APIs, reliability, and developer experience
  • Help scale infrastructure for new markets, partners, and corridors

Qualifications

  • 6+ years solutions and architecting experience 
  • 3+ years managing or directly leading Solutions Engineers / technical integration teams
  • Strong technical depth with APIs, distributed systems, and cloud platforms
  • Skilled in coaching, hiring, and building great teams
  • Comfortable operating cross-functionally and with external customers
  • Clear communicator, strong problem solver, mission-driven
