As a Solutions Engineer, you are the technical advisor in the sales cycle. You guide our customers from the initial technical discussion through to the final decision phase, demonstrating how Flip can be integrated into complex IT landscapes, and answering all architecture and security questions.

- support our Sales colleagues throughout all phases of the sales cycle - from initial technical deep dives to customized solution designs.
- conduct product demos and workshops, convincing decision-makers and IT experts of Flip's value.
- design and lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs), respond to Security Reviews, and bring structure to complex requests (RFPs / RFIs).
- translate customer needs into clear requirements for our Product and Implementation teams.
- act as a trusted sparring partner for customers on topics such as integration, architecture, and security.
- collaborate closely with your team to establish best practices and continuously develop our technical Sales playbook.
- represent Flip with confidence externally – whether during a CIO call, an IT workshop, or at industry events.

- have 3–5 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Presales, or Value Consulting – ideally within a B2B SaaS company or consulting environment.
- navigate technical discussions with IT, Security, or C-Level stakeholders confidently and build trust through competence.
- are proficient in Enterprise IT architectures, Identity Management (SSO, SCIM, AD, etc.), data integration, and security requirements.
- are customer- and solution-focused, find smart answers to complex questions, and can articulate value propositions clearly.
- can communicate technical content precisely and clearly – to experts as well as non-techies.
- thrive in a scale-up environment – because you don't just use processes, you actively help design and shape them.
- are open to travel as required, valuing the opportunity to work outside of one location.
- speak German and English fluently.

Depending on the role, you’ll join occasional team events, workshops, or meetings in our Berlin or Stuttgart offices - always with plenty of notice.
