As a Solutions Engineer within the Global Technology organization, you will build products, services and tools to grow our business, operate smartly, deliver superior investment results and propel business teams with the use of technology through in-house and vendor products. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be making technical decisions around how best to serve our customers through the products we offer. Based in our Luxembourg office, you will have frequent interactions with governance and oversight functions in fund administration, legal, compliance, fund distribution and risk management. You will represent Global Technology in this important office, but you will be directly supported by your colleagues globally.
What you’ll be doing:
Delivering regulatory initiatives across the Luxembourg Management Company and operating regions while monitoring and anticipating regulatory developments, with a focus on operational resilience (e.g., DORA, outsourcing, ICT risk).
Managing technology reporting requirements to the different governance forums and conducting officers.
Liaising with the Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Audit and Information Security teams to ensure that processes and practices meet all regulatory demands.
Representing Capital Group in industry workgroups and staying abreast of latest developments in Fintech and Regtech.
Implementing and managing AI solutions across Europe and Asia, covering product strategy, design, prioritization, and lifecycle using no‑code, low‑code, and pro‑code approaches.
Build data‑ and AI‑driven systems, including data pipelines, retrieval and agent‑based architectures (LLMs, ML, vector databases, APIs), and multi‑step asynchronous workflows.
Deliver scalable, reliable solutions using strong software engineering practices and cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), with a focus on quality, observability, and resilience.
Building relationships with your customers, partner teams and the engineers on your team.
Influencing your team’s technical decisions by making insightful contributions to team priorities and approach.
Helping in identifying and solving ambiguous problems.
Your background and who you are:
You have a background in solutions engineering and a passion to learn.
You've made mistakes in the past and have learned a lot from them. You apply this learning regularly.
You believe there are generally multiple ways to solve a technical problem, each with different trade-offs.
You approach projects, tasks, and unknowns with curiosity, and enjoy sharing what you know and what you learn with the people around you.

Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science or related field, or an equivalent in relevant work experience.
Experience in software development and Cloud-first design, (Serverless databases and functions, dynamic autoscaling, container orchestration, etc.).
Experience in delivering AI solutions leveraging different architecture patterns.
Exposure to regulatory reporting, compliance and monitoring in the Luxembourg CSSF or European context.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
