Summary:
Translations.com seeks a bright, self-motivated Solutions Engineer (SE) to join our “startup within an established company” for our global enterprise clients. We are looking at candidates located anywhere in the East, Central, and West coast. Your work will directly impact how the world’s leading organizations communicate around the globe through language technology projects. We want you if you are an experienced Sales or Solutions Engineer who can assist with the booming sales growth of our existing GlobalLink Product Suite. You will report to the Vice President of Content Solutions, and be responsible for supporting our global sales force in a pre-sales capacity.
In order to be a successful candidate you must be technically proficient in representing both the technical features and end-user benefits of our GlobalLink technology product suite, and have the ability to be customer-facing when required. You will have a strong sense of ownership. If you’re excited by new challenges this could be the right fit for you!
Responsibilities:
- You will manage pre-sales demo activities for GlobalLink products
- You will coordinate post-demo follow ups with our global sales team
- You will support the technology sales for our global sales team
- You will interact with our Product Development team
About You
As a Sales Engineer you are a:
- Creative thinker – You are curious and unafraid to ask questions
- Hard worker – You are industrious and diligent in everything you do
- Innovator – You are willing to initiate changes and introduce new ideas
You experience includes:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university
- At least 3 years experience in presales/software sales support
- Experience in content management
- Enthusiastic, focused, self-motivated individual capable of demonstrating individual initiative
- Excellent technical acumen
- Experience in demonstrating software solutions and value propositions to end-client
- Detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in process development
- Experience in localization and translation industry
- Strong knowledge of Java, .NET, Web Services, and/or other web and software application technologies
- Experience with developing/architecting global enterprise solutions
