The Role
You will play a pivotal role in solving the most complex client challenges, whether through technology-driven approaches or experience-led innovation. You will be responsible for shaping solutions within RFP responses, strategic pitches, and evolving our offerings across the region.
This role is suited for individuals with either a creative or technical background, but the key denominator is a strategic mindset and problem-solving toolbox that allows you to identify, frame, and solve client challenges in a way that creates real business impact. You will work across industries, designing approaches that integrate technology, data, design, and business strategy into solutions that drive growth and transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design of strategic solutions, balancing either a technology- and strategy-driven approach or a strategy- and experience-driven approach.
- Shape RFP and pitch responses, ensuring our solutions stand out through strategic rigor, creativity, and feasibility.
- Identify and frame complex client challenges, applying structured problem-solving methodologies to create clear, actionable approaches.
- Drive innovation by evolving and developing new offerings within Northern Europe, leveraging Merkle’s global capabilities.
- Collaborate across teams, including technology, experience, data, and consulting, to craft holistic and scalable solutions.
- Ensure alignment with delivery teams, bridging strategic vision with execution to create tangible value for clients.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in digital transformation, customer experience, or strategic solution design.
- A background in either experience-led strategy and creativity (e.g., UX, digital service design, customer engagement) or broad technology strategy (e.g., MarTech, CRM, platforms, AI, data-driven solutions).
- Deep strategic thinking, with the ability to break down and solve complex client problems using a structured approach.
- Strong ability to connect technology, data, and experience into cohesive and compelling solutions.
- Ability to translate complex technical and business challenges into clear, compelling narratives.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, able to engage and persuade senior stakeholders.
- Experience working across multi-market, international teams.
- A collaborative, pragmatic mindset—not a lone wolf, but a strategic connector.
