We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of Solutions Development Project Manager. In this position, the successful candidate will lead the development of tailored HVAC and Refrigeration Energy Efficiency Solutions, oversee project execution, and ensure compliance with industry standards, utility incentives, and company business goals.

Why This Role is Important:

The Solutions Development Project Manager owns the overall customer satisfaction during the deployment of energy saving technologies

and will be an escalation point for all team members who are working to install technologies at customer site.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand scope for each customer at beginning of project and manage to that.
  • Monitor and track progress of all tasks associated with customer installs.
  • Know areas of risk that may cause delays and always be prepared to parse them.
  • Ensure deliverables are met, roadblocks are tracked, and issues resolved favorably.
  • Manage and own all consistent communication of project status with the customer and internal Budderfly Team.
  • Gather and analyze information to prepare and present reports to management on the progress of projects.
  • Own Customer relations during Implementation being hands-on is required.
  • Be the point of escalation for all areas of Operations throughout Implementation.
  • Schedule and manage with Budderfly Team, Contractor, and Customer all Connectivity (Internet), metering, and EE Solution installs per scope.
  • As Customer Installs begin, be aware of budget and stay focused as the install evolves – update and manage costs to budget for real-time awareness.
  • Support the solutions development project administrators, coordinators, and engineers as they assist you with various energy efficiency solution installs.
  • Oversee the return of all unused equipment and material (RMAs).
  • Review all projects post completion surveys to determine improvements.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree/experience combination preferred.
  • Solid 5 -7 years of project management experience.
  • Technical [HVAC, Controls, Refrigeration] experience required.
  • Experience with work order management tools desired (End Jobs, Site Tracker, Smartsheet).
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • 20% travel required.
Compensation
$80,000$100,000 USD

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
