Solutions Consulting Director, Supply Chain Planning Technology Pre-Sales (remote)

The Solutions Consulting team at Manhattan is seeking a new Solutions Consulting Director to act as technical Subject Matter Expert within sales for Manhattan’s Supply Chain Planning (SCP) technology solution as well as be a strong functional product knowledge resource across other product families, i.e. warehouse management, inventory, retail allocation, etc. The ideal candidate will have an expert level understanding of professional selling concepts and business acumen to resolve complex pre-sales problems in creative and effective ways. This individual will be tasked with introducing our innovative supply chain planning solution as well as creating formal networks with key decision makers and serving as an external spokesperson for the organization. They will be assisting in building and maintaining relationships with senior and executive level personnel at prospects and clients, including key decision makers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Actively contributes to account sales strategy as directed by management.
- Typically works on large, complex, highly visibility, strategic or tactically important accounts
- Conducts Manhattan value assessments for prospective customers to show how clients will benefit from the implementation of Manhattan’s products.
- Establishes account presence and builds relationships and trust with key accounts.
- Takes on additional leadership roles within Manhattan (ex. Product Council, marketing activities, speaking engagements, etc.)
- Works as product lead with Solutions Consultants, Sales Reps and Sales Managers to develop presentations showcasing Manhattan's supply chain planning product as well as the full suite of products and solutions, as needed.
- Uses product functionality expertise to contribute to the development of proposals - primarily the product specific section of RFPs and proposals.
- Works in conjunction with the Services Organization to develop implementation estimates for Manhattan solutions.
- Acts as solutions lead on product demonstrations to customers, which include presenting the targeted problems, solutions demonstration, value proposition, and case studies.
- Works closely with Product Management to communicate functional requirements that should be added to future Manhattan releases.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, supply chain management or related product/service specialty
- 10+ years implementation consulting, pre-sales support or related field sales experience
- 10+ years of experience in pre-sales with consistent quota achievement, or combination of pre-sales and implementation services leadership experience
- Deep domain expertise as it relates to supply chain characteristics of multiple Manhattan targeted industries
- Deep understanding and product experience in Manhattan’s supply chain planning solution or similar/competing solutions
