What You'll be Doing:
- Conduct client discovery and solution design by partnering with Account Executives on uncovering client objectives and pain points.
- Lead technical discovery conversations to translate business goals into structured solution designs.
- Rapidly scope and prototype custom solutions using mock-ups and low-code tools.
- Deliver compelling product demos that showcase AI, workflow automation, and data/API use cases.
- Support technical validation, including API testing, data mapping, and use case configuration.
- Act as a trusted technical consultant for AI-driven platform solutions.
- Consult on and support presales efforts, including custom solution engagements such as AI agents.
- Lead presales scoping and technical input for API and DaaS-related client engagements.
- Collaborate with Engineering on solution handoffs, providing input on feasibility, data flows, and prioritization.
- Support client-facing cloud security and compliance discussions and reporting, with guidance and training from senior security leads.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 2–5 years in a client-facing technical role such as Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or Technical Account Management.
- Comfort working with APIs, SaaS platforms, and data-driven solutions.
- Some development exposure (e.g., building basic scripts or making RESTful API calls using Python, Postman, or similar tools).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical topics into clear, business-friendly language.
- Basic knowledge of cloud architecture terminology, security terminology and awareness of cloud services.
Valued Extras:
- Experience with R&D, IP, or life sciences data (e.g., patents, journals, bioinformatics).
- Familiarity with AI/ML applications or data transformation pipelines.
- Basic understanding of IT security frameworks and cloud compliance (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).
- Examples of past technical prototypes, side projects, or client-facing deliverables.
