Job Summary
As the Solution Consultant you will be responsible for integrating the future of our automated solutions into our customers’ facilities. You will work on developing AGV solutions based on the intralogistics needs of our customers through collaboration with integrators and partners in the North American market. In this role you will report to the Director of Solution Development.
Your Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, project management, and engineering teams to identify customer needs and develop innovative solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
- Responsible for logistics planning and calculation of automated guided vehicle (AGV) systems.
- Manage the entire technical solution development process during the sales phase, including conceptualization, design, and documentation.
- Contribute to the development of standard tools and processes used within the team.
- Ensure solutions are delivered within the deadlines set by our customers.
- In coordination with sales and operations, maintain relationships with development teams of our suppliers, key customers, and partners.
- Create solution specifications (technical and design aspects).
- Communicate the technical design to the project manager and the implementation team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in solution development or application engineering or system engineering, preferably in the automation industry.
- Strong technical background with exposure to automation, robotics, and control systems.
