The Work You’ll Do:

As Solutions Business Analyst (API) you will be responsible for the functional, technical and best practices consulting in relation to Sovos SaaS Products. Will gather project requirements, outline the solution design, produce project documentation, activate and configure the solution features according to project scope, follow-up the implementation and testing related to Sovos products. The Solutions Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring projects scope and solution design is set within Sovos products parameters and scope.

More specifically you will:

    • Collaborate with Client business, functional and technical teams and Sovos project team members outlining and designing Sovos scoped products to Customer project scope.
    • Complete thorough solution design and architecture documents which includes all configuration details and any other necessary information to support Client and Sovos implementations.
    • Follow internal escalation and procedures when problems occur or when commitments cannot be met as planned.
    • Must be capable of leading fast-paced work sessions with internal and/or clients teams to come up with solutions to solve project problems within Sovos products capabilities and project scope.
    • Understanding the impact of individual task completion on the overall project schedule.
    • Excellent understanding of Sovos product and capabilities.
    • Analyze existing implementations.
    • Provide standard and advanced training, coaching and mentoring to teammates
    • Provide training as necessary to clients in relation to Sovos Products.
    • Identify and implement improvements to processes, documents, tools, reports, etc. to benefit and improve Sovos project team and new Clients implementation processes
    • Work with various internal departments to ensure the projects is completed in accordance with the project scope and Sovos product offer (Project Management, Sales, Product, IT, Support, etc.)
    • Perform internal tests according to Sovos products configurations and implementations according to project test plan.
    • Follow Client implementation and provide guidance in relation to Sovos products and best practices.
    • Follow Client tests and ensure execution of tests according to project test plan

  • What We Need From You:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or similar - mandatory
    • 3+ years' experience of client implementation in similar role
    • Knowledge of development languages, ability to read and understand code, to analyze rules/conditions and data mappings (C# or similar) - mandatory
    • Experience in systems and data integration, data structure, data mappings, highly preferred
    • Experience in projects of Electronic Invoicing, Billing, Systems Integration, Invoicing Systems (ERP), highly preferred
    • Experience with EDI, mapping, EDIFACT, highly preferred
    • Experience in ERP Software’s, Invoicing and e-Invoicing processes, highly preferred
    • Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills
    • Portuguese native or excellent oral and written communication skills and English as well (French fluency is a nice to have)
    • Knowledge of consuming SOAP and REST WebServices - Mandatory
    • Interact effectively with teammates, colleagues and Clients
    • Comprehend and communicate complex concepts
    • Concentrate, analyze and resolve complex problems
    • Utilize technology (e.g. phone systems, computer hardware and software applications) to fulfill work requirements
