Are you deeply technical, customer first-minded and passionate about games? Do you have interest in helping game companies solve hard problems to help bring play to the world? We are looking for experienced pre-sales professionals who have a successful track record helping Enterprises become more data-driven. Working with the Enterprise Account Executive (AE), the Enterprise SA defines and directs the technical strategy for our largest and important Games accounts (video game studios and publishers; real money gaming). You will lean upon your solid background in value selling, technical account management and technical leadership to maximize success in these accounts. Your success will lead to widespread adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, accelerating your Customer’s business critical ML & AI initiatives. As you will be working hand in hand with your customers to build proofs of concept, project managing production pilots you need to be highly technical. You will also be a thought leader for your customers helping your AE uncover Games Specific Data Use Cases based on the needs of your client.
The impact you will have:
- Work with customers as the main technical voice for Databricks
- Lead your customers on a transformational journey, helping them to evaluate and adopt Databricks as part of their strategy
- Own the technical strategy in the account, in alignment with their strategy and our go-to-market strategy
- Build a movement of technical champions within the account
- Align technical strategies around Databricks solutions
- Provide structured mentorship for other team members
- Gain the respect of your peers based on your experience, insight, and contributions
What we look for:
- Proficiency at establishing virtual teams, and leading them to ultimate success within the account
- Passion working in the Games industry (studios, publishers or real money gaming)
- Ability to form and maintain meaningful relationships with technical executives and influencers
- Strong presentation skills to create and evangelize a convincing point-of-view to important decision-makers that leads them down a path of success
- Hands-on technical experience in big data, data science and cloud
- An ability in data-driven business transformation, and driving change with data
- Production programming experience in Python, R, Scala or Java
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experience
- Nice to have: Databricks Certification
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
