About the role

The Solutions Architecture team is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective deployment of Generative AI applications for developers and enterprises. We act as a trusted advisor and thought partner for our customers, working to build an effective catalog of GenAI use cases for their industry and drive them to production through strong technical guidance. Rogo's customers represent a range of the largest investment banks to elite private equity funds and hedge funds. It's cutting edge cloud engineering at the AI frontier.

Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Cloud Architectures: Develop scalable, secure, and efficient cloud systems using Azure, Kubernetes, and AI technologies. Collaborate closely with the CTO to manage and optimize the partnership with Microsoft.

• Deploy and Manage Cloud Solutions: Lead the deployment and ongoing support of Rogo's platform for major financial institutions. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of services.

• Ensure Security and Compliance: Design and implement robust security measures to protect sensitive financial data. Work closely with the security team to achieve compliance with industry standards and best practices, ensuring a secure environment for Gen AI applications.

• Forge and manage relationships with our customers’ leadership and stakeholders to ensure their application’s successful deployment and scale.

• Foster Innovation and Excellence: Drive continuous improvement in code quality, system performance, and development processes. Encourage a culture of innovation and collaboration, mentoring peers and contributing to the growth of the engineering team.

Hard Requirements:

• 4+ years of industry experience as a cloud engineer. 

• experience working with Kubernetes and Terraform

• Deep understanding of Azure components and be well versed with the Azure well architected framework and can apply those principles while designing a solution.

• Operate with high horsepower, are adept at frequent context switching and working on multiple projects at once with expansive ownership, and ruthlessly prioritize.

• Own problems end-to-end, and are willing to pick up whatever knowledge you're missing to get the job done to ensure both your team and our customers succeed.

• Good communication skills with the ability to work with fluid requirements and shape them in collaboration with other team members

• Strong Networking experience is a plus

• Experience with AWS or other cloud environment

Bonus Requirements:

• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP services 

• Experience at a hypergrowth startup

• Financial Services work experience

• Knowledge of Datadog and other Telemetry tooling
