As a Solutions Analyst III - Python in Consumer and Community Banking, Architecture Governance team, you will aid in bridging the gap between product architects, tech partners, product owners, and software developers by leveraging your technical fluency and strong analytical reasoning skills. Your adaptability and ability to lead through change will enable you to navigate complex situations and manage dependencies effectively. With a strong foundation in governance processes, data analytics and technical solutions, you will contribute to the development of innovative architecture designs and data-driven insights that guide business decisions. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will ensure clear and concise information exchange with diverse stakeholder audiences, fostering collaboration and alignment across departments.
We need a strong facilitator who will bring a set of complementary skills to our team to help solve complex problems that cross many different organizations to meet our Software Development Governance, Risk Controls, Audit and Compliance obligations. The growth of autonomous applications, APIs, distributed and private data, and events will require "reinvent" thinking as we maintain an evergreen portfolio while increasingly automating the maintenance and governance activities into our software and infrastructure delivery tools.
Job responsibilities

  • Govern standards and compliance reporting of APIs, Events, and New Applications (SEAL)
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulatory obligations with increasing reliance on automation within the SLDC
  • Develop processes that support effective management of the architectural portfolio and site portal/collateral
  • Create and maintain effective documentation for memorializing architecture principles, decisions, and standards and for our team's processes and procedures
  • Create large-scale data processing pipelines to reduce manual effort and hand-offs between individuals, workflows, and systems of record.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensure code quality and identify areas for improvement to implement practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain architecture designs, policies, standards, and governance processes that align technology with business strategy; Continuously enhance technical knowledge and stay current with industry trends, ensuring the application of best practices and innovative solutions to address evolving business needs


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field
  • Experience as a Python Developer with a strong portfolio of projects (develop, test and maintain high-quality scripts); Customize scripts with expansive error-handling
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, including experience with data extraction, modeling, and interpretation to support strategic decision-making
  • Advanced data visualization capabilities, with hands-on experience in implementing and managing BI dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI etc.)
  • Experience conducting in-depth data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, providing actionable insights that support decision-making and key business initiatives
  • Collaborate with customers and peers within the org to identify and eliminate manual processes.
  • Experience modernizing documentation in Confluence.
  • Strong technical writing skills, with a proven track record of translating complex information into clear and concise documentation for diverse stakeholder audiences
  • Advanced knowledge of data fluency, including experience in handling large, diverse data sets and generating insights to drive business objectives


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • In-depth understanding of the Python software development frameworks such as Pandas, Requests, JSON, IDanywhere, etc.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, solid communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with popular data visualization tools such as QlikSense (preferred).
  • Experience with front-end development using HTML & CSS.
  • Experience with Confluence, MS SharePoint, and MS Teams.
  • A working understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
