Job summary
As a Solutions Analyst II at JP Morgan Chase within Corporate Technology, you will bridge the gap between business, operations, and technology teams to deliver effective solutions. You will leverage your analytical and technical skills to transform complex challenges into actionable results, contributing to the success of our projects and programs.
Job responsibilities
- Elicit and document business and data flow requirements, translating them into effective technology solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business strategy and technical solutions
- Apply data analytics techniques to extract insights from large, diverse data sets
- Support testing and post-implementation validation of system changes, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements
- Guide the work of others to ensure timely completion and adherence to established practices
- Maintain process management documents and tools to support functional group objectives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Completed formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in solutions analysis, including eliciting and documenting business and data flow requirements.
- Experience in SQL, Groovy, Cucumber, and applying Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
- Proficient in extracting, interpreting, and utilizing data to support informed decision-making.
- Developing technical fluency across relevant platforms, software tools, and emerging technologies.
- Experienced in data visualization and analytics, with knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relationships.
- Possesses strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to continuous learning and application of new knowledge
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior work experience in banking or credit card industry domain
- Exposure to Generative AI tools for data analysis, modeling, or building data insights to enhance business analysis
