Job Description:
As a Solutions Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions that meet the needs of our clients. You will leverage your expertise in dashboard development and SQL to create insightful and actionable business intelligence tools. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to lead projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Understand end-to-end process and rate of delivery for overall solutions. Ensure current priorities are in line with expectations of key stakeholders.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all data/reporting solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of dashboards and reports to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dashboard development - preferably with Qlik Sense.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems and writing complex queries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes is a plus.
- Preferred knowledge of ITIL based practices and associated data (Incident, Change, Problem, Resiliency, Capacity Management)
- Ability to manage multiple in-flight responsibilities and a high volume of detailed work effectively
- Preferred UX experience and Qlik Mashup (or equivalent) experience.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Experience in any scripting language Python, Java script or front-end development will be a plus.
