The Solution Strategist shapes and advances specialty practice solutions that support Opioid Treatment Programs (OTP), Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), and related healthcare workflows. This role partners with clients and internal teams to translate complex clinical and operational needs into product requirements, roadmaps, and scalable solution capabilities. The position also supports integrations, care-record migrations, and collaboration across multiple products and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Conduct client, stakeholder, competitive, and market research to identify current and future solution needs.
- Translate complex clinical workflows into clear business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product priorities.
- Communicate solution strategy, plans, and roadmaps to clinical, technical, and business stakeholders.
- Partner with Engineering to manage solution scope, requirements, and prototypes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Collaborate across product teams to support integrations, data requirements, interfaces, and migrations from legacy care-record platforms.
- Facilitate client discovery and workflow discussions, including conversations with clinical and technical audiences.
- Partner with Support, Sales, and Marketing on feature descriptions, demonstrations, solution training, release content, and go-to-market activities.
- Use market research, competitive analysis, utilization data, and user-engagement insights to promote innovation and differentiation.
- Monitor regulatory and industry changes that may create new product requirements or market opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, information systems, project management, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in healthcare software consulting, information technology, solution functionality, or equivalent work.
- At least two years of software-related project experience.
- Experience reading, applying, or writing requirements for software features and functions.
- Experience managing client communication and relationships.
- Ability to research, analyze, and prioritize functionality and requirements.Strong customer-facing, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30%
Preferred
- Experience with care-record migrations, requirements gathering, healthcare data, and interfaces across multiple products or solutions.
- Experience with OTP or MAT clinical and operational workflows.
- Experience with EHR, pharmacy, medication dispensing, e-prescribing, prescription drug monitoring program (PDMP), laboratory, or healthcare interoperability solutions.
