Description

As a Solution Sales Specialist for Site Research, you will be responsible for managing the sales process to bring the Verily Viewpoint Site Clinical Trial Management System to new healthcare provider sites running clinical trials. This will include understanding customer needs, acting as a trusted advisor to match the solution, demonstrating the software for prospective customers, and driving pricing and contracting. You will work cross functionally within the Healthcare Provider Commercial team and with colleagues across Verily. This role will require you to be flexible and nimble and aggressively grow the business to help establish Verily as the premier solution partner in the space.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and partners through regular engagement, including attending conferences and conducting business reviews.

  • Lead all phases of the sales cycle—from lead generation and value proposition presentations to contract negotiations and execution—to meet or exceed bookings and revenue targets for Site ClinOps products.

  • Gather and analyze market intelligence by collecting feedback on pricing, challenges, innovation, and competitive trends from customers and partners.

  • Collaborate with the broader Verily Commercial Organization to identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities, align with product roadmaps, and ensure cohesive go-to-market strategies.

  • Support overall company milestones by communicating updates, driving interdepartmental initiatives, and aligning personal objectives with team and organizational goals.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or related fields.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in healthcare sales or business development focused on SaaS, and 2+ years selling clinical trial solutions or services.

  • Deep understanding of site clinical research process.

  • Experience selling complex solutions and driving significant revenue growth.

  • Travel up to 25% for meetings, conferences, and on-site engagements as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a site-based research department, with a proven ability to manage complex, technical software solutions involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Proactive and adaptable, demonstrating initiative, efficiency, and agility in dynamic environments.

  • Positive, open-minded, and entrepreneurial, with a collaborative spirit and a drive to learn.

  • Deep alignment with Verily’s mission to bring the promise of precision health to everyone, every day.

  • Proficiency in the Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Slides, Docs) and a capacity to leverage these tools effectively.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $107,000 - $151,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
