Overview
IQVIA is seeking a Solution Sales Specialist 1 to join our Global Market Insights team. Through our data and analytics, Global Market Insights supports pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations in measuring, managing and segmenting markets, finding and sizing opportunities and maximizing the return on investment across the pharmaceutical drug lifecycle worldwide.
The Solutions Sales Specialist will identify, develop, and maintain business opportunities with new and existing clients by delivering proactive, consultative sales solutions and building relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned customer accounts while identifying and responding to customer needs to uncover potential opportunities.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, develop deep knowledge of customer organizations, maintain high visibility within accounts, and regularly monitor customer satisfaction.
Develop, execute, and monitor comprehensive sales plans for target accounts, adapting successful strategies and tactics to meet market demands and financial objectives.
Analyze account opportunities and propose appropriate strategies and solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives.
Maintain knowledge of company products and services to identify opportunities that support customer needs and business growth.
Monitor market trends and competitive developments to inform sales strategies and customer engagement.
Coordinate with contracts, proposals, operations, and functional teams to develop proposals and prepare and deliver customer sales presentations.
Manage all follow-up activities related to the sales process to ensure timely progression and customer engagement.
Serve as the primary liaison between customers and IQVIA technical and operational teams to support solution development and delivery.
Accurately record customer and sales activities in the CRM system and prepare sales activity reports for management as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of sales, account management and/or business development experience, with a proven track record of successfully engaging and influencing mid-level and senior decision-makers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Knowledge of IQVIA offerings, pharmaceutical and life sciences markets, along with relevant business and industry trends.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, coworkers, managers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting demanding timelines.
Ability to influence others, adapt to changing priorities, work creatively in a fast-paced environment, and operate effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $54,300.00 - $135,700.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Skills Required
