We are looking for Solution Manager to drive the development and growth of our quality management solutions for the paper and board converting industry.
In this role, you will not be responsible for managing an existing business. Instead, your focus will be on creating the future: developing solutions, shaping the offering roadmap, identifying new business opportunities, and enabling sales teams to succeed in a rapidly evolving market.
What you'll do
- Own and develop the overall automation, quality control and process optimization solution and offering portfolio for paper and board converting applications
- Define and drive the technology and offering roadmap based on customer needs, market developments, and business opportunities
- Coordinate development activities and collaborate closely with R&D and product organizations
- Support sales teams with process expertise and solution positioning throughout the sales cycle
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and future development needs
- Develop new business opportunities and scalable concepts that create customer value and support long-term growth
What we're looking for
Ideal candidate has a background in production, process engineering, technical customer support, or another customer-facing technical role within the corrugated board, extrusion coating, self-adhesive laminating, specialty paper, or broader roll-to-roll converting industry.
Ideally, you bring:
- Experience in the corrugated board, extrusion coating, self-adhesive laminating, specialty paper, or broader roll-to-roll converting industry.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality requirements, and industrial operations
- Experience working closely with customers and translating operational needs into practical solutions
- Ability to combine technical understanding with business and market awareness
- Interest in business development, offering management, and growth initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment
- Ability to travel approximately 30-50 days annually
Why this role?
This is a unique opportunity to take a leading role in defining future solutions for an industry undergoing continuous transformation.
Rather than maintaining an existing portfolio, you will have the opportunity to build, develop, and scale new business opportunities. You will work closely with customers, sales, product development, and business leaders, with real influence on future technologies, offerings, and market direction.
You'll have the opportunity to take an active, hands-on role in shaping how process performance and quality are managed in paper and board converting applications in the future.
