As an Integrations Developer, you will be part of our highly successful delivery business team, utilizing your skills in the development and enhancement of our market leading software applications for the hospital and healthcare environment. Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
  • Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs.
  • Design programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs.
  • Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents moderately complex programs.
  • Create appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.
  • Design systems and programs to meet complex business needs.

Essential Requirements

  • Solid experience in enterprise systems integrations and web services (SOAP, REST)
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • 5+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
  • 5+ years of knowledge and experience in any of relational and non-relational Databases (SQL, Oracle, Elastic, Mongo….)
  • Experience with software lifecycle processes (SDLC, Agile) in a highly regulated environment
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded.
  • Ensures programs meet standards and technical specifications; performs technical analysis and component delivery.
  • Gathers information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements.
  • Assists project manager in preparing time estimates and justification for assigned tasks.
  • Writes specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity.
  • Assists support and/or project personnel in resolving moderately complex program problems.
  • Works with client and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within their areas of responsibility.
  • Provides technical advice on complex programming.
  • Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.
  • Remains abreast of industry technical trends and new development to maintain current skills and remain current with industry standards.

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years of programming or testing experience.
  • Programming skills
  • Experience working with appropriate programming languages, operating systems and software.
  • Experience working with relational databases to facilitate programming software.
  • Communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients.
  • Experience using JIRA.
  • Experience with standards-based vocabulary and terminology including SNOMED-CT and LOINC
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability and messaging standards, including but not limited to HL7 2.x, HL7 3.x, HL7 FHIR, IHE integration profiles and technical frameworks.
  • Preferred DevOps experience
