The Solution Engineer is a cornerstone of Arcadia’s sales process, serving as the technical and strategic partner to our sales team, leadership, and clients. This role bridges the gap between client needs and Arcadia’s innovative healthcare data and analytics platform, ensuring our solutions align with the complex challenges of today’s healthcare landscape.
By bringing deep healthcare expertise and a consultative approach, the Solution Engineer plays a critical role in:
· Showcasing the impact of Arcadia’s platform through tailored demos and solutioning.
· Translating client challenges into actionable use cases, aligning Arcadia’s capabilities with their strategic goals.
· Engaging with stakeholders to address follow-up questions, solve problems, and clarify technical details.
· Collaborating with subject matter experts across the organization to deliver accurate, insightful, and high-value solutions.
This role is vital for helping prospective and existing clients fully understand the transformative potential of Arcadia’s solutions, while empowering our sales team to succeed in a competitive and dynamic healthcare landscape.
What Success Looks Like
In 3 months
- Complete all necessary onboarding and training sessions
- Attend introductory meetings with key teams (Sales, Product, Customer Success)
- Review existing sales materials and demo environments
- Start building relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Begin the 12 week Solution Engineer Credentialling Course
In 6 months
- Participate in client meetings and product demonstrations with senior team members
- Successfully pass first phase of the Solution Engineer Certification Program
In 12 months
- Successfully pass all remaining Solution Engineer certification requirements including Final exam
- Successfully lead a full product demonstration independently
What You'll Be Doing
- Role & Responsibilities:
- Acting as a market-facing subject matter expert on Arcadia’s solutions, effectively demonstrating the capabilities and benefits of our platform to healthcare audiences
- Supporting technical aspects of sales pursuits including customer education, product demonstrations, and solution briefings with a focus on healthcare-specific scenarios
- Actively supporting and leading deal discovery sessions with key prospect stakeholders, identifying their unique needs/challenges, and effectively mapping our solutions to their specific requirements to drive successful sales engagements
- Guiding customers and prospects through the transition process from sales to implementation, ensuring a smooth and informed transition
- Leveraging PPT decks/slides and the demo environment to convey complex technical concepts. Valuing propositions in an accessible and persuasive manner
- Developing and writing clear, concise, and effective demo scripts tailored to various audiences. Showcasing the features and benefits of our solutions while addressing specific client needs and scenarios
- Documenting and catalogue customer use cases and outcomes, contributing to the ongoing refinement of demo best practices
- Collaborating with internal teams to standardize processes and handoffs, enhancing efficiency across business functions
- Actively collaborating with the cross-functional Arcadia teams (Product, Data Management, Operations, etc.) to optimize our demo environment and ensuring our demonstrations are highly effective, relevant, and reflective of the latest healthcare industry needs and technological advancements
- Networking with prospects at conferences and events. Establishing yourself as an expert in value-based care analytics, healthcare data technology, and Arcadia’s solutions
- Providing input and expertise in the creation of healthcare-focused sales and marketing materials
- Proactively staying informed on healthcare market trends, value-based care initiatives, and CMS programs to maintain a competitive edge in client interactions
- Serving as an internal and external consultant by sharing actionable insights on market developments, informing product alignment, messaging, and strategic decision-making
- Ensuring Arcadia’s solutions are presented in ways that resonate with clients, reflecting a deep understanding of current and emerging industry needs
- Committing to ongoing professional development, focusing on healthcare technology, value-based care, and the evolving needs of the healthcare industry
- Taking initiative to explore and master Arcadia’s platform and solutions. Using this expertise to independently problem-solve and effectively address client challenges
- Collaborating with the team to share insights, refine solution messaging, and enhance collective knowledge to ensure alignment with market demands and client expectations

What You'll Bring
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in a client facing role within the healthcare sector
- Strong understanding of healthcare dynamics - particularly in value-based care and population health management
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate a wide-ranging audience, from CEOs to program managers
- Demonstrated ability to remain flexible and think critically in dynamic situations, providing clear and accurate responses to customer questions and use cases as they arise
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical solutions to diverse audiences
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, capable of working collaboratively with various departments
- Familiarity and experience with healthcare technologies (EMRs, EHRs, etc.)
- Proficiency in using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent experience
