In this role, you will:

  • Develop and implement digital solutions, ensuring they meet functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Collaborate with architects and other engineers to design and build scalable digital experiences.

  • Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of digital platforms.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.

  • Ensure that all development complies with CPRA/CCPA, GDPR, and other data privacy regulations.

  • Implement secure data handling practices, including encryption, access controls, and consent management, within the Sitecore platform.

  • Stay current with the latest technologies and trends in digital experience platforms, applying them to enhance solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that development aligns with business goals and user experience objectives.

  • Participate in requirements gathering to solidify requirements and determine the best technical solution to meet the business needs.

  • Design, develop and implement new templates, components, and responsive experiences to support the expansion of the core platform with scalability and reusability in mind.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for all technical implementations, ensuring clarity and accuracy.

  • Lead efforts to optimize the performance of digital platforms, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions.

  • Implement best practices for SEO, accessibility, and analytics within the Sitecore platform.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.

  • Ensure that all development is aligned with the organization’s digital marketing strategy and goals.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve the development process, suggesting and implementing enhancements.

  • Lead efforts to integrate third-party services and APIs into the Sitecore platform, ensuring seamless functionality.

In one of our technical roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 7+ years of experience in developing solutions using Sitecore.

  • Hand-on experience in development of scalable consumer facing digital solutions using .Net, C#, MVC approaches, as well as headless technologies.

  • Excellent understanding of web technologies, frameworks, and best practices including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular, and REST APIs.

  • Strong understanding of web development best practices, including responsive design and performance optimization.

  • Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development practices.

  • Key Sitecore and Sitecore related skillsets:

    • Hands-on Sitecore solution development experience with Sitecore version 10 required.

    • Experience with deploying and utilizing Cloud ecosystems including Azure, Sitecore Cloud or AWS is required.

    • Experience with Docker/ Containers

    • Strong experience with search implementations such as Solr.

    • Experience developing against the Helix design principles and Sitecore best practices.

    • Experience with multilingual implementations.

    • Experience designing and optimizing relational databases and stored procedures for optimal performance and/or maintainability.  Experience with SQL Server is a must.

    • Sitecore Professional Developer Certification is a plus.

  • Experience with automated testing and security scans.

  • Experience with SEO and tagging (analytics).

  • Strong understanding of CPRA/CCPA, GDPR, and their impact on digital experience solutions.

  • Extensive experience in issue spotting and raising compliance issues in their day-to-day and be aware of the major regulatory considerations impacting their work.

  • Experience in implementing secure data handling practices within Sitecore and other digital platforms.

  • Familiarity with compliance feature, such as consent management and data protection tools.
