Solution Consultant (Manager/ Director)

Job Description:
Strategic Leadership & Governance:

• Define and lead the overall strategy for Solution Consulting and Architecture in alignment with the company’s business goals.
• Establish best practices, frameworks, and standards for solution design, presales engagement, and architectural governance.
• Lead and mentor a team of Solution Consultants, Architects, and Presales Engineers, driving performance, capability development, and knowledge sharing.

Client & Executive Engagement:

• Lead C-level and senior stakeholder discussions to understand business challenges, digital transformation goals, and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex business and technical requirements into strategic, scalable solutions.
• Represent the organization in key client presentations, executive briefings, and high-value proposal defenses.
  

Solution Design & Architecture:

• Oversee the design of end-to-end, enterprise-level, cloud-based and hybrid solutions that meet functional, technical, and business requirements.
• Ensure all proposed solutions are aligned with customer enterprise architecture and industry best practices.
• Drive innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies, platforms, and methodologies.

Presales & Revenue Support:

• Partner closely with Sales Leadership to develop win strategies for complex, high-value deals.
• Provide executive-level support in presales activities, including solution positioning, effort estimation, risk analysis, and commercial alignment.
• Lead solution demonstrations, workshops, and value engineering sessions for strategic accounts.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management:

• Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Sales teams to ensure feasibility and alignment.
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure clear communication and execution alignment.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels, ensuring expectations are clearly defined and successfully met.
  

Documentation & Reporting:

• Oversee the creation and quality of solution proposals, technical architecture documents, executive summaries, and strategic reports.
• Provide regular reporting on pipeline support, solution success rate, risks, and performance metrics to executive management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Presales, or Consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven expertise in designing enterprise-grade solutions in cloud-based and hybrid environments.
• Strong background in business analysis, digital transformation, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated experience engaging with C-level and senior executive stakeholders.
  
• Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent project and program management knowledge, including planning, execution, and risk management.
• Experience working in a Software House, SI, Consulting, or Technology Services environment is highly preferred.
