Job Description
The Solution Architect is responsible for the high-level design and strategic integrity of our SalesForce technology landscape. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring that systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term goals. You will not only design the "what" but also define the "how" by establishing standards for development, integration, and quality.
Responsibilities
Architectural Design: Design scalable and resilient solution architectures
Strategic Advisory: Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
Governance & Standards: Define and enforce best practices for org health, security and development standards
Integration Oversight: Design robust integration architectures using middleware like MuleSoft
Quality & Governance: Participate in System Design Reviews to evaluate solution architectures, ensuring full alignment with the long-term platform strategy and architectural best practices
Work with product managers to scope work and produce estimates to help define deliverables and timelines
Mentor and lead less experienced technical team members to enable their growth and success
Basic Requirements
Experience & Background
Proven Experience: 5–8 years in software development and systems design, with a clear progression into architectural leadership and decision-making
Strategic Design: Extensive experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems and microservices architectures
Data & Integration: Strong background in complex data migrations and designing multi-system integration patterns
Technical Competencies
System Design & Patterns: Expert knowledge of modern architectural patterns and integration strategies
Documentation Excellence: Strong technical writing skills with the ability to lead the creation of comprehensive technical specifications, process flow diagrams, and solution design documents
Leadership & Soft Skills
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and senior executives.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make decisive, data-driven choices under pressure.
Collaboration: Proven ability to foster teamwork and align cross-functional teams toward a unified technical vision.
Preferred Qualifications (The "Plus" list):
Salesforce Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the Salesforce platform (e.g., Sales/Service Cloud, Data Cloud, or Core Architecture) is considered a significant advantage.
Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce and delivering solutions that optimally balance "Declarative vs. Programmatic" approaches
Knowledge about Heroku, Data Cloud, Oracle databases
