About this opportunity:
Join our dynamic team at Ericsson as a Solution Architect. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable technical solutions in your respective technical domain. These solutions will be based on customer specifications and business needs. As Solution Architect, you will be responsible for creating both short- and long-term profitable business strategies for Ericsson. This will be accomplished by working closely with the Core 3 team to translate customer needs and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals.
What you will do:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Ericsson Mediation Solution deployments (Virtualized and Cloud-Native / Container-based), including design, scoping, and implementation across CUs and customer programs.
- Drive ETDP and BSS readiness for 5G (incl. CHF), building team capability in emerging areas.
- Deliver services end-to-end (scope, cost, quality, timeline, customer satisfaction) from solutioning through handover.
- Enable technical upskilling of Solution Architects and Integration Engineers (product roadmap, containers, CI/CD).
- Improve cost efficiency through reuse, automation, and standardization.
- Support pre-sales as a domain expert, ensuring delivery-optimized proposals.
- Lead, motivate, and technically guide teams with a hands-on, customer-focused mindset.
The skills you bring:
- 10+ years in Digital Services (BSS, Cloud, or Packet Core), with strong customer-facing architecture experience.
- Expertise in 5G ecosystem and protocols (NRF, SMF, CHF, SBI, HTTP2); Diameter (Sy/Gy) experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of BSS/EPC/IMS, VoLTE, IMS, GSM, and 5G call flows.Strong IP networking fundamentals; familiarity with Wireshark.
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, microservices (ECCD a plus).Knowledge of Java, Kafka, SOAP/REST, scripting (Perl/Shell/Python), PL/SQL, YAML/XML/JSON.
- Experience in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.ETCP 5G Core or Cloud Associate certification preferred.
- Proven technical leadership, mentoring mindset, and strong collaboration skills.
