About The Role:

• 仕事内容
• クライアントの信頼される技術アドバイザーとして、関係構築および意思決定への影響力を発揮するPingCAPの製品やサービスを活用し、クライアントに最適なソリューション設計を提案
• 実施するクライアントやパートナーが導入を進めやすいよう、技術コンテンツ（ホワイトペーパー、リファレンスアーキテクチャ等）を作成する
• PoC（概念実証）やベンチマークテストなどの技術検証をリードし、製品の有効性を証明する現場からのフィードバックを継続的に収集し、プロダクトチームと連携して製品の改善
• 競争力向上を推進する社内外に向けてベストプラクティスを共有し、知見を組織全体で活かせるよう支援するマーケティングイベントやセミナー等での講演
• プレゼンテーションを担当し、技術力とブランドを発信するコミュニティに向けてPingCAPの技術を普及する（技術イベント・登壇・記事投稿など）


• Roles & Responsibilities
• Build and maintain technical trusted advisor relationships to influence key technical decision makers on database choices of data projects
• Work with clients to design cutting-edge solutions that leverage PingCAP product portfolio and services
• Develop technical content, such as white papers and reference architectures, that can be used by our clients/partners to assist them in implementing data solutions
• Lead PoC or any kind of test to show PingCAP competitiveness
• Actively get feedback from field and keep synchronize with product team to improve product competitiveness
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the PingCAP community
• Represent PingCAP at marketing events by delivering presentations and lectures
• Evangelize PingCAP technologies to communities

What we are looking for:

• 必須要件

• 主要クラウドサービス（AWS, Azure, GCP）での実務経験
• Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQLなどの主要データベースや、シャーディング技術（例：RAC、Vitess）に関する理解
• プログラミング経験（主要言語・フレームワーク）を有し、DB機能を活かした設計経験がある方
• 高可用性（HA）、災害対策（DR）、バックアップ/リストア、モニタリング、チューニングに関するDB設計・運用経験
• 大規模データシステムのソリューション設計またはITコンサルティングの実務経験
• 日本語：ビジネスレベル以上


• Expectation - Basic
• Strong customer-facing communication skills. Proven success and genuine enthusiasm for working directly with customers.
• 2+ years experience with major cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• 2+ years of experience with database software (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) along with popular sharding practice (RAC, Vitess)
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in software development(with major programming language/framework) along with databases, have rich experience in design database leveraging database features
• 1+ years of experience in database design and management, familiar with common database design approach like HA/DR, backup/restore, monitoring/tuning
• 3+ years solution design or consulting experience building large-scale data systems
• Language: Japanese (Must for Japan market)

• オンプレミスからクラウドへのDB移行プロジェクト経験


• Preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related technical major).
• Rich domain knowledge (Video gaming/E-commerce/Internet) in region
• Understand common digital transformation practice and building block to enable it
• Consulting selling to create opportunities
• Experience to lead project to win by cooperating with a diverse team(sales/dev/partner)
• Experience of migrate database from on-prem to cloud
